Ellyn Oaksmith is the USA Today and Kindle bestselling author of SUMMER AT ORCHARD HOUSE and other books.\n\nAfter winning a graduate fellowship at the American Film Institute in screenwriting, Ellyn worked as a screenwriter in Hollywood, learning to rewrite, pitch movies and navigate the Los Angeles freeways before Google Maps. Meeting movie stars was a fun perk.\n\nAfter returning to her native Seattle, Ellyn's first romantic comedy in book form was published by Avon/Harper Collins. Four other romantic comedies with whip smart, ambitious heroines followed.\n\nEllyn's short story, Mr. Montana, debuted as a Kindle Bestseller in January 2020.\n\nShe lives in Seattle, Washington with her husband and their poly-dactyl cat, Forest.
